I recommend the House of Night series by PC & Kristin Cast, especially if you like the Twilight series. I like this one better, because the heroine isn't so angsty and doesn't forget her entire life just because of a guy. :)
Also, the way they become vampires is unique as well. The series: Marked, Betrayed, Chosen and Untamed. Book 5 comes out next year! Whoot!

I also heard PC and Kristin Cast have a new reader forum for this series. I haven't checked it out yet, but it sounded neat.
