Violet On The Runway
Violet Greenfield has always been the outcast. It's senior year, and she hasn't changed since middle school. That means: same old glasses, out-dated clothes, and hunched over posture (Violet stands over 6 feet tall.)
She's hoping for change, though she can't make it happen herself. Ironically, she gets spotted by an agent at her job. The agent, Angela, thinks she'd be a perfect model. Maybe even the next "It" girl.
The next thing you know, Violet is driving to New York, feeling a little more confident and excited about a fresh new start. As soon as Violet gets discovered by famous designers, she soon learns that modeling just might be her thing.

This is one great book. I really enjoyed it! The third book in the series is out (or about to be) and Violet is just awesome! Another YA author to try is Caridad Ferrer. Her debut, ADIOS TO MY OLD LIFE is wonderful, and her second, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE ACCENT is just as good!
Yes, I can't wait until Violet In Private (the 3rd book) comes out! I believe it's coming out August 5th. Eeep! :D I'll cheek those books out. I just read the reviews from Amazon. They sound like something I would like, thanks!
